BIRD EYE FARM and lodging
of Golconda, IL is privately owned and operated by the Tim Givens family. The farm has been in the family since the mid 60's and has mainly been used for recreational purposes such as hunting, hiking and fishing.
The lodging is a spacious basement home with attached garage situated on 40 partially wooded acres bordering the Shawnee National Forest.
Inside you'll find your home away from home. The kitchen comes complete with all you need to prepare your meals (bring your own food) There is one sit down eating bar in kitchen and one in the front room. The living room has seating for seven. The bathroom has a tub/shower combo, with washer/dryer. You'll find one queen bedroom, one double bedroom and two twin beds in a very large front room.
For entertainment we offer a ping pong table, dart board and local TV. Outside you can enjoy hunting, hiking and fishing.
